We spent a long weekend in Vilnius visiting friends, who just recently had twins! We've wanted to visit for a while and we're glad we finally made it. Highlights of our trip...concert in a church featuring a trio of girls singing 40's style songs, watching the Lithuanian basketball team almost beat Team USA in the Olympics, a trip out to Trakai and swimming in the lake, sauna party, seeing nearly 10 different couples getting married and taking up the tradition of crossing Vilnius' many bridges on Sunday, Eric getting stung by a bee in a shop, watching the sunset from Uzupis... Vilnius is a jewel of a town, we loved it so much!
